John Milbourne

Milbourne played basketball and was a member of the 1951 team that was runner-up in the CIAA. He was a member of the 1952 CIAA "Visitation" championship team and was co-captain in 1955-56 and 1956-57.


He was a high school basketball coach in his native Virginia, compiling a 301-99 record. He later coached at Hampton University for six years and Elizabeth City State University for three years.


Though retired from courtside, Milbourne remains active as a scout and coach's mentor.
