Hall of Fame
Carr, a graduate of St. Albans High School, later served as athletic director and boys' basketball coach at South Charleston High School. While a member of the Yellow Jackets baseball team, he was All-Conference and WVIAC Player of the Year, Hitter and Region IV Player of the Year and second team All-American. He previously held the records for most home runs in a career at 57; most home runs in a year at 18 and is second in career runs batted in at 157.
