WVSU seniors
Brittany Franco,
Charlotte Sandy, and
Diana Cotoros had very little in common when they arrived in Institute in August of 2012.
After all Franco is from Florida, Sandy from England, and Cotoros from the Republic of Moldova next to Russia.
They will graduate together next spring with a lot in common.
Mainly winning.

Sunday the Yellow Jacket women's tennis team defeated the University of Charleston 5-1 in the championship match of the Mountain East Conference tournament in Charleston.
It was the third straight tournament title following a third straight regular season crown for the program.
In the fall of 2012 the Jackets defeated West Liberty to win the final championship in the now defunct WVIAC.
That is four straight regular season and four straight conference tournament titles for Franco, Sandy, and Cotoros.
The trio has never experienced losing to a conference opponent. That streak stands at 43 in a row.
Sunday WVSU took early control by winning two of the three doubles points.
Cotoros and sophomore
Brenda Cumpa jumped out to a 7-0 lead and won 8-3 and third doubles.
Franco and freshman
Laura Isbey reversed a previous loss to the Golden Eagles with an 8-5 win.
Charleston took second doubles 8-6 over sophomore
Nina Dillwald and freshman
Kayla McKnight.
Franco, the MEC Player of the Year, got things rolling in singles with a 6-1, 6-1 win.
Cotoros made it 4-1 with a 6-1, 6-2 victory at six singles.
Isbey, the MEC Freshman of the Year, then closed out the match with a 6-3, 7-5 victory at second singles.
Sandy almost made it a senior sweep leading 7-5, 5-0 when play stopped.
The win earns the Yellow Jackets an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament in early May at a site to be determined.
