In a matchup of regionally ranked teams the No. 5 WVSU women's tennis squad dropped a hard fought 5-4 decision at No. 3 Slippery Rock Sunday morning.
  Andreea Slusarciuc and Jordan Kerns teamed to win at second doubles with Slusarciuc, Kerns, and Ana Juarez pulling out singles victories.
  It marked the Yellow Jackets third match in 10 days against a nationally ranked opponent as Slippery Rock is ranked No. 39. The Jackets previously faced No. 10 Rollins and No. 17 St. Leo.
