The second-seeded Yellow Jackets open play in the Mountain East Conference baseball tournament at 3 p.m. Thursday against fifth-seeded Concord.
WVSU wound up the regular season with a 30-10 mark in the conference and 30-13 overall.
The Jackets are led by
Trenton Porter who is hitting .379 with 8 home runs while Josh Kiser and
Tyler Payned have knocked in 26 runs each.
Tyler Thompson has posted an 8-1 record with an earned run average of 1.71.
