Baseball Takes Four Game Set from Charleston

     The Yellow Jackets closed out the 2015 baseball regular season in style taking all four games in a series at the University of Charleston Saturday and Sunday.
     Tyler Payne tossed a four hit shutout to get things rolling in the opener as WVSU won 4-0.
     The Jackets won game two Saturday by a final of 9-4 as Jordan Simpson knocked in a pair of runs.
     In Sunday's opener Phillip Mandt belted a two-run home run to lead WVSU to a 4-1 win.
     The Jackets closed out the weekend sweep with a 3-0 victory in Sunday's second contest as Will Ore, Curtis Johnson, and Josh Falbo combined to hurl the shutout.
     WVSU finishes the regular season in second place in the conference with a 30-10 record in MEC play and 30-13 overall mark heading into this weekend's conference tournament.
