      Devin Bowles allowed just four hits and one run through eight innings, striking out nine, and Joshua Falbo tossed a perfect ninth inning to lead WVSU to a 3-1 win over Urbana on Day 1 of the Mountain East Conference baseball tournament in Beckley.
      Andrew Pickering and Trenton Porter each drove in a run and Noah Blackhurst had two singles and scored once to pace teh offense.
      The Yellow Jackets next face Concord at 7 p.m. tonight.
