Craft, Cloxton Belt Back-to-Back Home Runs, Jackets Split Doubleheader

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2
The Yellow Jackets were trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the sixth inning when Eric Craft blasted the ball over the left field fence with room to spare to tie the game.
Zach Cloxton then belted a hooking line drive down the right field line that stayed inside the foul pole as it left the field for what proved to be the game-winner as WVSU rallied for a 2-1 win in the second game of Sunday's doubleheader against visiting Notre Dame (OH).
Starter Russell Thompson went three strong innings with Joseph Beane tossing the next three to pick up the win. Dusty Kincaid picked up the save by retiring three of the four batters he faced in the seventh.
The visitors took the opener 5-1 with Jack Hudson's round-tripper accounting for the lone Yellow Jacket run.
