The Yellow Jacket women rallied from an 11-point halftime deficit and scored the final eight points of regulation to tie the score only to fall 70-69 in two overtimes.
Asia-Bryanne Greenleaf picked up a double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds, Jasmine Blanton finished with 19 points and Kashauna Cook 16.
In the men's game WVSU scored first after a halftime tie and led the rest of the way to pick up an 88-79 win.
Anton Hutchins finished with18 points and Raymon Austin 15 while Stephen Thompson pulled down 11 rebounds to pace the Yellow Jackets.
