The WVSU men's basketball squad took off on a 17-2 run midway through the second half to break open a previously tight contest on the way to a 93-75 win over visiting Bluefield State Monday night.

   Corey Bethea led the way with 21 points with David Ford adding 17, Qua'Darius Fewell 13 along with nine rebounds, and Dustin Jones 11 for the Yellow Jackets.

   Senior Robbie Lewis contributed nine points and a game high 11 rebounds.
