The WVSU men's basketball team will be heading to Salem International Friday and Saturday to take part in the Joe Manchin Classic.
Friday the Yellow Jackets face the host Tigers at 7 p.m. then Saturday at 2 p.m. they are back on the court to take on Bluefield State.
WVSU is led by freshman guard
Ernest Jenkins who is averaging 18.7 points per game after breaking the program record with 10 buckets from 3-point range in his last outing.
Sophomore point guard
Brent Bauer is next at 15.7 points a conest along with 6.5 assists. Freshman
Jayson Hankins is also averaging in double figures at 14.3 and leads the squad in rebounding averaging 7.2 a game.
The Yellow Jackets return home on Monday, December 19 for a noon contest against Washington Adventist.
