Bo King's first assist of the night put the Yellow Jackets up 6-5 with 19:05 mark of the first half. WVSU would never trail the rest of the game, jumping out to a 48-36 halftime lead and winning by a final score of 94-85 at Concord University.
The Yellow Jackets had their best three point shooting performance of the season, hitting 10 of 21 attempts. WVSU out rebounded the Mountain Lions 54-37. The 54 rebounds was a season best. WVSU had seven players with five or more rebounds. Sophomore Steve Wing led with 12, off the bench, followed by Dominic Phillips eight,
Bo King and Terry Wood with six each;
Juan Johnson, Anton Hutchins, and
Stephen Thompson with five each.
Concord had beaten the Yellow Jackets five straight times, with the last win the Mountain Lions a 98-90 victory on November 17, 2010. Head Coach
