Box Score Anton Hutchins hit a jumper in the final minute of the first half to give WVSU a 40-38 lead at the half and the Yellow Jackets never trailed in the final period in taking an 89-85 win at Davis & Elkins Sunday afternoon.
Hutchins paced the Jackets with 25 points, Dominic Phillips added 19, Bo King 14, and Juan Johnson 10.
The Yellow Jackets hit 48 percent from the floor and forced the Senators into 18 turnovers.
