The Yellow Jackets had a hard time getting shots to fall in the first half Monday at Johnson C. Smith as the host Golden Bulls finished the first half on a 13-3 run on the way to an 87-63 win.
David Ford led WVSU with 22 points and senior
Corey Bethea added 15 in his first game of the season.
The Jackets hit just 30.8 percent from the floor in teh opening half and 38 percent for the game.
