Game 1: Felician 7, WVSU 4
The Yellow Jackets got on the scoreboard first in the top of the third inning. A pair of fielding errors allowed Kerigan Moore and Emele Clark to reach base. Both runners stole second and Moore moved to third when Clark boarded the base paths. Addi Dillow hit a sac fly to score Moore and Clark subsequently stole third. Autumn Thompson walked and Emma Pauley reached via another Felician fielding error, scoring Clark. Chelsea Thompson grounded out in the next at-bat, scoring Thompson. State did not get a base hit in the top of third, but scored three runs on three Felician miscues.

WVSU plated another run in the top of the fifth when Avery Contreras belted a base hit to right field, scoring Sydney Shamblin who pinch run for Autumn Thompson after her leadoff single.

In the bottom of the sixth, Felician went ballistic, erasing the Yellow Jackets lead with a seven run, eight hit inning. WVSU could only manage a Cassidy Cummings two-out walk in the top of the seventh.

In all, State scored four runs on six hits and did not commit an error. Felician scored seven runs on 12 hits and had three errors.

Game 2: Kutztown 8, WVSU 0 (6 innings)
Dillow singled in the first inning but was caught stealing in a strike-'em-out-throw-'em-out double play to end the inning. Kutztown struck early with three runs on three hits and a WVSU error in the bottom of the first inning. Clarke Moore hit a two-out single in the top of the second, but she was also caught stealing to end the inning. Kutztown added a run in the bottom of the second.

In the top of the fifth, Jayde Baron hit a double down the left field line and was sacrificed over to third by Kaitlyn Cabral. Moore attempted to bunt Baron home, but Baron was thrown out at the plate. Kutztown plated three more runs in the bottom of the fifth.

Autumn Thompson hit a one-out double and moved the third on a groundout, but was stranded there following an inning-ending strikeout. Kutztown scored their eighth and final run in the bottom of the sixth.

State will play their final two games of the invitational Sunday with a 12:30 p.m. rematch against Felician and then a 5:30 p.m. contest against the host UNC Pembroke Braves.
