Game 1: WVSU 5, GSU 3
Autumn Thompson hit a sac fly in the first inning to discord Emma Ruth who led off the inning by reaching on a dropped third strike. Addy Dillow scored in the second inning on a Clarke Moore sac bunt attempt then Emma Ruth flew out to right field, scoring Emma Pauley on her sacrifice.

GSU scored two in the fourth inning. State answered in the fifth inning with Kerigan Moore scoring on an Emma Ruth double, who later scored on a Kasey Murphy single to right. Glenville State scored one more in the sixth and got a two-out single in the seventh, but the Yellow Jacket defense recorded the final out, securing the win.

Kasey Murphy threw four innings of work to get the win, striking out four and didn't surrender an earned run. Autumn Thompson threw three innings of relief to get the save. She struck out two and allowed the only earned run for GSU. Emma Pauley hit 2-for-3 with a double. Emma Ruth hit 1-for-2 with two RBIs.

Game 2: GSU 6, WVSU 4
State again scored the first run of the game in the first inning. Emma Ruth got a lead off base hit then came home on a passed ball. GSU then scored three runs in the second and three runs in the sixth to take a commanding 6-1 lead. State started to rally in the sixth inning, however with Autumn Thompson leading off the inning with a single up the middle followed by a Kasey Murphy dinger that was hit so hard it cut right through the inward blowing wind and landed in the tree over the left field fence to plate two runs. Three of the next four batters were thrown out, stranding a runner at third.

Kerigan Moore and Emma Ruth both got aboard due to fielding miscues by the Pioneers and a single to the second baseman by Chelsea Thompson looked to load the bases but Moore was thrown out at home trying to score.  Ruth eventually scored after Thompson hit a single into left field, forcing Glenville State to hook their starter. The reliever came in and threw out the next two batters, ending the game.

Autumn Hall was charged with the loss. She allowed all six runs, only three of which were earned and struck out nobody. Murphy went 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs. It was the lone extra-base hit for the Yellow Jackets.
