FROSTBURG, Md. -- The No. 49 West Virginia State University women's tennis team completed a 7-0 drubbing of Frostburg State on Monday to remain undefeated in Mountain East Conference play. The Yellow Jackets improve to 7-4 on the spring season and 3-0 in the MEC standings with the unanimous victory.
WVSU won all three of the doubles matches by a 6-1 scoreline. Throughout all six of the singles matches, only four total sets were conceded by the Yellow Jackets.

West Virginia State will head to Fairmont State next on Wednesday, April 13th for its fourth in-conference test of the 2021-22 season. On Thursday, the Yellow Jackets will host No. 24 Charleston at Ritter Park in Huntington, W.Va. to see who will reign supreme in the MEC this season.
