HARROGATE, Tenn. -- The West Virginia State University women's tennis team won both of its matches at the Lincoln Memorial University Invitational on Saturday. The Yellow Jackets prevailed against LMU, 4-3, in the first match of the day before battling against the University of the Cumberlands for its second victory of the regular season by the same score, 4-3.

Senior Gaya Solomon was paramount in West Virginia State's success on Saturday. Solomon won both of her singles matches and both of her doubles matches, alongside fellow senior Chante Malo, to go 4-0 on the day. She was in the first pairing for both singles and doubles play to make her feat even more impressive.
