Women's Tennis wins 5th MEC Title!!
West Virginia State University won their 5th MEC Title in 6 years with a 4-1 win over the University of Charleston. The Jackets avenged a regular season loss to the Golden Eagles. State has now beaten the University of Charleston 12 of the last 15 times to the two schools have met.

The Jackets won at #1 and #3 doubles to earn that 1pt and won the next four singles matches starting with Laura Isbey, followed by Nika Tadic, and finished with Kierstin Hensley. The Jackets will now wait for the NCAA Regional phone call to find out their seeding and opponents for the NCAA Co-Atlantic Regional in two weeks,
