WVSU Faces Concord in Final Home Game of Season

It will be Senior Day sponsored by Qdoba Mexican Grill at Dickerson Stadium Saturday as the Yellow Jackets wrap up the home portion of their schedule with a 1 p.m. meeting against 2-7 Concord.

On paper it looks like a very close match-up.

WVSU is second in the Mountain East Conference in passing offense while the Mountain Lions are second in pass defense.

The Jackets are 11th in rushing offense with Concord 11th in rush defense.

When the ball changes hands it will be the Mountain Lions 10th place rush offense versus WVSU's 10th place rush defense.

The Yellow Jackets have the upper hand in total offense with the advantage switching to the visitors in the total defense category.

Concord has won the last seven meetings after a 10 year stretch that saw WVSU win seven times.

Will WVSU turn the series around?

Kickoff is at 1 p.m. with Senior Day festivities staring at 12:45 p.m.

Anyone unable to make it to the stadium can follow the action right here.
