The Yellow Jackets will be looking to get on track this weekend when they travel to Glenville State for a 1:30 p.m. meeting with the Pioneers (3-4 overall, 3-3 in MEC).

      Glenville State is coming off its fourth straight loss after starting 3-0. The Pioneers fell 19-7 to visiting Alderson-Broaddus in a Thursday night game last week.

      WVSU broke a seven game losing streak against Glenville with a 24-21 win last year in Institute. The series dates back to 1962 with the Pioneers leading 29-25.

      Junior quarterback Dante Roberts is 172-of-288 for 1,724 yards, 16 touchdowns and six interceptions on the season. He ranks fourth in the conference in both passing yards per game, 246.3, and passing efficiency, 14.2. Roberts' favorite target is senior wide receiver Dante Absher who has hauled in 49 catches for 513 yards and seven touchdowns.

        Dom Gibson, Eric Kile, and Thomas Boles share the load on the ground with Gibson leading the way with 437 yards on 80 carries, a 5.5 yard per carry average.

        Junior defensive back Earon Settles leads the Glenville State defense with 55 tackles and three interceptions.

         The Yellow Jackets enter the contest second in the MEC in passing offense averaging 288.1 yards an outing.

          This will be the Pioneers' Homecoming Game.
