Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 After dropping the opening game of Saturday's twin bill 4-3 to visiting Wheeling Jesuit in 10 innings the Yellow Jackets handed the conference leading Cardinals their first MEC loss of the season by a convincing 8-2 margin in game two.
The Jackets took command early erasing a Wheeling 1-0 lead with six runs in the bottom of the first.
Shandell Curtis drove in two to lead the way and Ali Haynes went the distance in the circle to pick up the win.
