The WVSU women's basketball team fell 103-75 to top-seeded Glenville State Saturday afternoon in the semifinals of the Mountain East Conference tournament at the Charleston Civic Center.
MEC Player of the Year Lexy Carson led the Yellow Jacket effort with 26 points, six rebounds, and four assists in her final college game.
Freshman Shealyn Shafer contributed 16 points and 13 rebounds, senior Jordan Brock 11 points, and senior Asia Greenleaf 11 rebounds.
The squad finished with a 19-11 record, the second best in program history.
