After WVSU dropped game one of Sunday's doubleheader 5-1 Desiree Giffin made sure the Jackets were not swept.
Giffin belted a pair of three-run home runs in the first inning as WVSU jumped out to a quick 12 run lead in the nightcap on the way to a 17-6 victory in the nightcap.
Giffin added another hit later in the game and finsihed with eight runs batted in.
