The WVSU women's basketball team kocked off rival Charleston 78-56 Saturday afternoon in front of a crowd of nearly 600 on Senior Day in Fleming Hall.
Senior Jasmine Blanton led the way with 28 points with Asia-Bryanne Greenleaf adding 21 and 13 rebounds.
The Yellow Jackets overcame an early 16-6 deficit with a 12-0 run and never looked back.
Jordan Brock added nine points and 13 rebounds while India Taste pulled down 11 rebounds.
