The WVSU women's basketball team (5-2) set a program record for scoring in a 114-92 win over visiting Shepherd Thursday night.

Seniors Lexy Carson and Jordan Brock led the way with 27 and 18 points respectively with freshman Shealyn Shafer contributing personal highs of 13 points and 15 rebounds.

The Jackets led by as many as 39 points and ended up shooting 52.7 percent from the field.
