Box Score
The Yellow Jackets received career highs of 35 points from
Jasmine Blanton and 19 from
Maria Femia on the way to scoring a season high 92 points but still fell to Glenville State's high-powered offense 119-92 Saturday night in Fleming Hall.
The Jackets (3-6 overall, 3-3 in WVIAC) even hit a season best 53.7 percent of their shots but it was a pair of statistical categories that they did not win that was their undoing.
Glenville State (11-2, 6-1) dominated on the boards winning the rebound battle 65-42 and their constant full-court pressure forced WVSU players into 32 turnovers. Those two figures combined to give the Pioneers a 106-67 edge in shot attempts.
Jordan Brock contributed 12 for WVSU.
