The WVSU softball team defeated Seton Hill 2-1 in a rain delayed first round WVIAC tournament contest in Vienna Thursday afternoon.

   Kelsey Lorraine struck out 12 in tossing a one-hitter.

 Later in the day Sara Pelegreen allowed just two hits as Yellow Jackets defeated Alderson-Broaddus 1-0 to advance to the front-draw final scheduled now for 2 p.m. Friday against West Virginia Wesleyan.
