Softball Sweeps Concord

Junior Pitchers Kelsey Lorraine and Sara Pelegreen threw a pair of shut outs for the second day in a row as the Yellow Jackets swept Concord University by scores of 3-0 and 7-0. Head Coach Bob Allen's team is now 36-11 overall and current 3rd in the WVIAC with an 18-4 record.

The Yellow Jacket batters pounded out 24 hits on the day. Mallory Hilton, Sabrina Schouten, and Alana Weyant each had 4 hits on the day. Mattie Best and Hilton each had three RBI's.

West Virginia State University travels to Salem, WV today, 04/18/12, to celebrate Head Coach Bob Allen's birthday and to play NCAA Division II Independent to play salem International University. .
