The Yellow Jackets hit their first 27 free throws and finished 29-of-30 from the line on the way to defeating visiting West Liberty 88-78 Thursday.

      The WVSU guard duo of Jasmine Blanton and Sissy Wagner had a big night as Blanton finished with 24 points and 10 rebounds while Wagner added 22 and four .      

     West Liberty tied the score at 64-64 with 10:11 to play but the Yellow Jackets responded with a 10-2 run to take control.

       Channell Mackey contributed 13 points and Jordan Brock 11 for WVSU.
