The University of Charleston took off on a 24-3 run late in the first half to take a 48-25 lead and then held on for a 102-79 win over the visiting Yellow Jackets Tuesday.

     The Golden Eagles shot a torrid 62 percent compared to 40 percent for WVSU.

    Former Winfield star Jordan Brock paced WVSU with 23 points followed by Jasmine Blanton with 18.
