West Virginia State University Athletics

Stevie Larson joined the West Virginia State University staff in April 2026 as the Sports Information Director. Larson comes to State after spending over four years working at King University, most recently as Director of Athletic Communications. While at King, Larson was part of the athletic communications staff that was named 2022-23 Conference Carolinas Athletic Communications Staff of the Year. Prior to King, Larson held internships at Newberry College (S.C.) and Northeastern State University (Okla.). He also spent time interning for the Northwoods League office during the summer of 2020. 
 
Outside of work, Larson is involved with Minnesota American Legion baseball, helping as an Assistant Coach for Tri-City Red, and also helping run various tournaments throughout the Twin Cities. A native of White Bear Lake, MN, Larson graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2019 with a Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Journalism.
