Kaleb “KC” Curtis enters his 2nd Season as the Director of Sports Medicine for the Yellow Jackets. Curtis oversees the entirety of the Sports Medicine Program, covering a number of sports including Football, Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Baseball, and Softball.
Curtis, before coming to the Yellow Jackets, was the Head Athletic Trainer and Head Strength Coach for Christian Brothers University. He has also served as the Head Athletic Trainer for Glenville State University in 2020, an Assistant Athletic Trainer with Stetson University Football in 2019, and an Assistant Athletic Trainer/Head of Football for the University of Pikeville in 2016.
Curtis is a graduate of Georgetown College with a Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training, an Associates of Nursing from Spencerian College, and a Masters of Science in Healthcare Administration from Sullivan University. Curtis is currently still active in the Kentucky National Guard as a Chemical Officer, and resides in Charleston, WV. He and his wife Jessica have 3 children Kaylee, Kayce, and Kayson who are avid Yellow Jackets fans.
