Connor Walsh starts his tenure at WVSU as an Offensive Line Coach in 2026, bringing experience from the FBS, Division II, and Division III levels. Known for his work in player development, recruiting, and game preparation, Walsh has built a reputation for helping programs strengthen their offensive units while developing disciplined and competitive team cultures.

Walsh previously served as the Assistant Offensive Line Coach at the University of Texas at El Paso. In that role he assisted with offensive line drills and meetings, focusing on technical development and game strategy. He prepared weekly scouting reports, coordinateed opponent and personnel breakdowns, and managed offensive scout team operations while contributing to recruiting efforts in Texas and through the transfer portal.

Before joining UTEP, Walsh coached tight ends and tackles at Minnesota State University Mankato. He oversaw position meetings and individual drills while assisting with special teams units including kickoff return, punt, and field goal operations. Walsh also served as practice coordinator and worked closely with equipment and athletic training staff. During his tenure, the program produced multiple All-American and All-Conference players and made back-to-back NCAA Division II playoff appearances.

Walsh also spent time at Muhlenberg College as the corners coach, where he led defensive back drills and assisted with defensive meetings and opponent preparation. His responsibilities included film breakdown, self-scouting analysis, and coordinating recruiting visits while working recruiting territories in several states.

He began his coaching career at North Park University, assisting with multiple position groups including offensive line, tight ends, and linebackers. The role provided early experience in player development, recruiting coordination, and practice preparation.

A former collegiate player, Walsh was a four-year starting center and two-year captain at Washington & Jefferson College. He earned multiple All-Conference honors during his career and was recognized for his leadership on and off the field.

Walsh holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from North Park University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Washington & Jefferson College. His coaching philosophy centers on discipline, accountability, and the development of student-athletes both on the field and in the classroom.
