Derek Dressler enters his second year on the coaching staff at West Virginia State University in 2020. He currently serves at the Defensive Line Coach after being promoted from a graduate assistant.
Prior to joining West Virginia State, Dressler graduated with honors from Concord University in December of 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Recreation and Tourism Management. He started 40 games in a row as an offensive lineman at Concord. Additionally, he earned First Team All-MECÂ honors and Don Hansen All-Region honors during his playing career with the Mountain Lions.
Dressler is currently pursuing a Master's of Science in Sports Studies from West Virginia State. He is originally from Covington, Va. and is the son of Steve and Kristi Dressler.
