Played at Spring Valley High School… First Team All Conference, Threw No Hitter Junior Year against Huntington High with 15 K's, finished senior year with 52 K's and 25 walks and a 2.13 era in 28 innings pitched. At Longwood had appearances against Auburn, Hawaii, Army, Virginia. Freshman year at Longwood pitched in 10.2 innings with a 5.91 era. Sophomore year finished with a 8.44 era in 5.1 innings pitched
