Kaitlyn Miller enters her second year as the Head Coach of the Acrobatics & Tumbling program at West Virginia State University in 2024.

"We are excited to announce Kaitlyn Miller as the first head coach of WVSU Acrobatics & Tumbling," Burton said. "Her passion, knowledge of the sport, and recruiting experience will serve her well as she builds our A&T program. I would like to thank our search committee for their hard work in identifying the best person to start our program."

Miller was a member of A&T teams at Gannon University that were ranked in the top five in the nation in both 2018 and 2019. She fully understands all the aspects that make up a successful program. She also brings the invaluable experience of building a first-year program which she gained at Coker University as a Graduate Assistant.

“I would like to start by thanking Nate Burton and the search committee for trusting me to lead this new program,” remarked Miller. “I am honored to be the inaugural Head Acrobatics & Tumbling Coach at West Virginia State University and I am eager to build a strong and successful program!

“I have a passion for coaching and helping athletes be as prepared as possible for the rest of their lives and I am thankful that I am able to do this at WVSU. I would also like to thank my family and many other individuals in my life for continuing to support me in everything I do each day.”

Miller joined a first-year program at Coker and gained first-hand experience of building a team from the ground up to uniquely prepare her for her current position. She assisted with all the day-to-day duties of running an A&T program including recruiting, budgeting, fundraising and handling various coaching responsibilities.

Miller competed at the top position during her four-year career as a student-athlete at Gannon University. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in May of 2020 and a Masters of Science in College Athletic Administration from Coker University in December of 2021.
