INSTITUTE, W. Va. – West Virginia State University men's golf head coach Sonny Anderson has unveiled the Fall 2026 schedule for the Yellow Jackets. WVSU will compete in four events prior to October's Mountain East Conference championships.

"The team is young this year, but has a lot of potential," Anderson said. "I see my players being competitive in the MEC. With all local players, I feel this group of players will exceed my expectations."

The season tees off Sept. 7 when WVSU competes at the UC Invitational at Berry Hills CC. The Yellow Jackets will then compete at a tournament hosted by West Virginia Wesleyan before competing in the Fairmont State Tournament. 

The final tournament before the conference championships will be Sept. 29 when WVSU competes at the Pitt,.-Johnstown tournament. That leads up to the 2026 Mountain East Conference Golf Championships, scheduled to start on Oct. 5.
