INSTITUTE – 85 West Virginia State student-athletes earned Mountain East Conference All-Academic honors, including 38 who were named Academic All-Conference, as well as 47 named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll.
"This accomplishment is a result of the commitment to academic excellence from both our student athletes and coaches," Athletic Director David Hicks said. "Competing at the college level is a significant time commitment on its own, and it's rewarding to see so many of our student athletes excel in the classroom as well."
In order to be named Academic All-Conference, a student-athlete must have a gpa of 3.70 to 4.00 during the Spring 2026 semester. In order to be named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll, a student-athlete must achieve a gpa between 3.25 and 3.69 during the semester. A total of 1,610 student-athletes received recognition across sports that conducted their championship season during the winter or spring seasons.
