INSTITUTE, W.Va. -- The Yellow Jackets William Wentz found himself T2 on the final leader board at the Bobcat Spring Open last week, gathering WVSU Men's Golf's first Mountain East Conference Player of the Week presented by The Health Plan of the season. The event was hosted by West Virginia Wesleyan at The Signature Palmer Course at Stonewall Resort.

Wentz first nine holes, of thirty-six total, manged to be the toughest on him posting a score of +6. Even after a double bogey on hole 10, William had a birdie on the Par 4 17th and finished the day at just +9. Day two of the Bobcat Spring Open was the same pace for Wentz finishing at +8, collecting one birdie, one double bogey, and seven bogeys.
