SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- West Virginia State senior centerfielder
Nate Paulsen has been named to the NCBWA All-Atlantic Region Second Team following a standout 2024 season.
The Bridgeport, W.Va. native hit .351 with a .442 on-base percentage and a .634 slugging percentage while helping lead the Yellow Jackets to a 27-23 overall record, including a 17-13 mark in Mountain East Conference play and a berth in the MEC Tournament. He was previously selected First-Team All-MEC and earned a spot on the MEC All-Tournament Team. Paulsen was also named MEC Player of the Week on May 5.
The Bridgeport, W.Va., native played a key role in regular season sweeps over Point Park and MEC South Division foe Concord. This marks Paulsen's first career All-Region honor.
