Box Score FROSTBURG, Md. -- Frostburg State scored in the 15th minute of the match, but Sara Paris Filter tied it up on a rebound putback in the 58th minute to tie Wednesday's match against the Bobcats 1-1 at Bobcat Stadium.Â
WVSU's record goes to 8-3-1 overall, 8-1-1 in the MEC. Frostburg State goes to 6-4-2, 4-3-2 in conference.
Filter led the attack with four shots, all on target and the lone Yellow Jacket goal.
Leila Karam also took four shots and put two of them on target. WVSU put 12 shots on target as a team compared to the Bobcats three. Bastock made two saves.
WVSU returns home for a 1 p.m. match on Sunday, Oct. 19 against the Salem Tigers to close out their non-conference regular season schedule.
