Post Game Records
WVSU: 19-22
Salem: 9-25

Game One – WVSU 4, Salem 2
WVSU put the first run on the board in the top of the fourth with Avery Contreras hitting into a fielder's choice that erased Emma Pauley. She scored on a wild pitch with two outs.

Salem hit a two-RBI single in the bottom of the sixth inning, 2-1.

In the top of the seventh, pinch runner Sydney Shamblin stole three straight bases to tie the game. A bases-clearing two-RBI double by Autumn Thompson that scored Emele Clark and Kerigan Moore put the Jackets ahead for good as Salem couldn't get a runner past second in their last at-bats of the game.

Game Two - WVSU 2, Salem 3
Both teams went down in order in the first and second innings. Clark Moore led off the top of the third with a double then scored on Clark's sacrifice fly. Avery Contreras got aboard safely via error in the next at bat, scoring Jayde Baron, 2-0.

Salem tied the game up in the bottom of the third, then scored the winning run in the bottom of the sixth. Autumn Hall singled in the top of the seventh, but State couldn't get Shamblin, who pinch ran for Hall, past second before the third out.
