Brooklyn Pritt scored two goals on the day while Yasmin Evans and Fran Soares-Cupertino each put a goal on the scoreboard. Emma Farrelly assisted on Pritt's first goal and on Evans's goal. Esther Dhiramo helped on Soares-Cupertino's goal and Maria Amaral assisted on Pritt's second goal.

State will travel to Beckley for their Mountain East Conference opener against perennial powerhouse Concord University. The Yellow Jackets are 2-3-1 all-time against the Mountain Lions.
