INSTITUTE, W.Va. -- Mountain East Conference (MEC) Coach of the Year Kris Kern has announced five volleyball camps in July that are currently open for registration. These camps are designed to help volleyball players of all ages and abilities develop skills to realize their potential.

All five camps will be held on the campus of West Virginia State University. Campers will be able to experience what it's like to play inside the Walker Convocation Center, which has hosted the past two MEC Championship Tournaments. Sixth-year Head Coach Kris Kern personally runs each camp with members of the WVSU volleyball team. West Virginia State's volleyball team captured back-to-back regular season conference championships in 2020 and 2021. Most recently, the Yellow Jackets advanced to the Round of 32 in the NCAA Division II Tournament.
