WVSU falls to NDC in MEC Quarterfinals
West Virginia State University lost to the 3rd seeded Notre Dame College by a score of 98-77 in the Quarterfinals of the Mountaineast Conference tournament being held at Wesbanco Arena in Wheeling, West Virginia. The Jackets led 5-4 on a Carmearl Thomas jump shot at the 17:44 mark of the 1st half. The Falcons took the lead for good on the next possession an went into halftime with a 43-28 lead.

State was lead by juniors Ernest Jenkins with 19 and Isaiah "Tuss" Noel with 16 points. WVSU finishes the season with a 12-17 record.
