WVSU split with Concord University for the second time in three weeks following the same formula. The Jackets winning game 1 and losing game 2 in extra innings.
Game 1
State broke a 2-2 tie in the bottom of the 5th inning with a 4-run outburst led by the senior's. Senior Kayleigh Thompson started off the inning with a walk, advanced to second on a sacrifice by senior Zoey Carte, and moved over to third on a single by  fellow senior Brookelyn Hale. Then Senior Brittany Allison singled to center field breaking the tie. It as Allison's 20th RBI on the season. The next batter was Sophomore Paige Scruggs would hit her 4th home run of the Spring clearing the bases paths. Scruggs now has 19 RBIs' on the season. Junior Emily Thompson earned the 6-3 win Freshman Emilee Walker  picked up her 1st career save.Â

Brittany Allison single to left field scored Kayleigh Thompson to tie the score 2-2 in the bottom of the 6th inning. Concord would score 2 in the top of the 8th inning to secure the 4-2 win.
