The air was chilly but the sun was bright and the sky blue Thursdsy. A perfect day for baseball.
  WVSU and Concord took advantage of the break in the rain to get in a doubleheader at Calvin Bailey Field.
  The Yellow Jackets took control early in game one and cruised to a 6-0 win.
  
Hunter Bradley never let the Mountain Lions in the game scattering three hits and walking just one while going the distance.

Matt Harrison and 
Ryan McDonough each had two hits with Harrison driving in two runs and McDonough one.
  WVSU continued to roll in game two picking up a 13-5 vuctory.
  After Concord jumped out to a 1-0 lead after one inning the Yellow Jackets put 10 runs on the board over the next three innings to take control.
   McDonough belted a home run while going 4-4 at the plate and driving in four runs for the Jackets. 
Jonathan Cline also drove in four runs with a single and two doubles.
  The teams square off again Friday in another doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m.Â
