Volleyball Rolls To 3-0 Win Over Bobcats

Box Score
Trailing 20-19 in the opening game the Yellow Jackets reeled off six straight points to win 25-20 and then rolled to 25-17 and 25-16 wins to defeat visiting West Virginia Wesleyan 3-0 Tuesday night to pick up their first Mountain East Conference victory of the season.

"Every game, every practice we're improving," said interim coach Jennifer Bulger. "The win tonight was huge for us, we lost (starter) Edwina Barnette, she's out for the season, she broke her hand in the last game."

That meant lineup adjustments and some position changes. The Jackets adapted quickly and well though as they seemed to get stronger as the match went on leading by double-digits for most of the final game.

Rebekah Baldwin paced the WVSU attack with 12 kills.Allison Tumey contributed 14 assists and Cassie Ford came up wwith eight digs.
