    The Yellow Jackets rallied from 2-0 down to force a decisive fifth set Saturday in the Walker Convocation Center in Institute before falling 3-2 to visiting University of Virginia at Wise.

    The Cavaliers took the first two sets 25-17 and 25-18 but the Jackets fought back to take set three 25-21 with an Edwina Barnett kill on the final point and set four 25-18 closed out by a Brenna Barker service ace..

    WVSU could not maintain the momentum though dropping the final set 15-6.

    Rebekah Baldwin paced the WVSU attack with 15 kills and Barnett added 13. Allison Tumey notched 42 assists while Brooke Cieslewski had 31 digs and Samantha Scripter 18.

    The Jackets head north next weekend to wrap up the regular season with a Friday match at Wheeling Jesuit at 7 p.m. followed by an 11 a.m. contest Saturday at West Liberty.
